Biography

Brenda Borton, AGPCNP-BC, graduated from South University in 2006 with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, where she went into Oncology care and later Emergency Medicine. She later completed her Masters of Science in Nursing and Masters of Public Health from the University of South Florida in 2013. Which led her to working in a weight loss clinic and further explored functional medicine through work with the University of Miami’s monthly Functional medicine course. After a move from Florida to Georgia the focus became further learning through the Institute of Functional Medicine as well as completing a Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine with George Washington University in 2024. Brenda now works with a local doctor in Functional Medicine and has an office in Blairsville, Georgia, with a focus on women’s Health, aging and longevity with a speciality in hormone replacement. Brenda is the pet mom to 5 crazy dogs and has the support and love of a very accommodating husband, Christopher. On her days off you can find her in the garden, working with herbs, and growing any manner of veggies and fruits or helping her husband continue to build their home.
