Biography
Dr. Nikki DiNezza, DC, NTP graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2009 with a BS in Exercise Science. Subsequently, she graduated from the Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2012 with her Doctorate in Chiropractic (DC). She then went on to get certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) with the Nutritional Therapy Association in 2015. Currently, she is working toward completing hours to become a Registered Herbalist with the American Herbalist Guild (RH(AHG)). Nikki fell in love with functional medicine during her time in chiropractic school. Initially, she became interested in the field to help her mom with Hashimoto’s. Shortly thereafter, she began a journey of self-healing and self-discovery, as she worked to heal her gut. Now, through her YouTube channel and in her business, she helps people heal their guts with an emphasis on helping those with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). Nikki is an avid plant and animal lover. When she is not working, she can be found foraging in her neighborhood, watching foraging videos, reading foraging and/or herbal medicine books, petting dogs, and winning over cats. She also enjoys watching K-pop videos, reading webtoon comics, kayaking, rowing, and painting. Her favorite foods are dark chocolate, seafood, and potatoes (all preparation methods).
